• Full access to all applications Users have full access to their desktops and all the applications on them — with Terminal Services, applications have to be ported.
• No application licensing limitations. Some application vendors restrict usage or require special licenses in a Terminal Services environment. Since the SMB Private Cloud runs full virtual desktops, there are no such restrictions.
• Customized to user requirements. Applications presented to the user based on their needs, adds to security versus one desktop for all users.
• Better fault isolation, lower support costs. In Terminal Services, an error affects all users, whereas in the SMB Private Cloud, since each user has a full desktop, faults on a desktop are isolated from others. When a desktop has problems, you can simply regenerate a pristine desktop on the SMB Private Cloud, which is not possible with Terminal Services.
